NLM Scheme for Goat, Sheep, Donkey, Camel, Poultry & Silage Making: Required Documents & Application Process

The National Livestock Mission (NLM) offers subsidies for various farming activities such as Goat Farming, Sheep Farming, Donkey, Camel, Poultry Farming, and Silage Making. Below is the list of essential documents required for applying under the NLM scheme along with the application process and steps.

Required Documents for NLM Scheme Application:

  1. Detailed Project Report (DPR): Should include capital costs, recurring costs, total costs, and net income. for DPR call 7014767372
  2. Land Document: Ownership or registered lease agreement for at least 6 years (Patta/Jamabandi).
  3. Location Photograph: Photo of the project site with GPS map.
  4. Applicant’s PAN Card
  5. Aadhaar Card
  6. Address Proof: Any photo ID or utility bill (electricity or water) with the applicant’s photo.
  7. Applicant’s Photo
  8. Educational Certificate
  9. Caste Certificate (if applicable)
  10. Training or Experience Certificate (from a government institution)
  11. Income Tax Return (ITR) for the last 3 years (if applicable)
  12. Cancelled Bank Cheque: For the bank account linked to the project.
  13. Last 6 Months Bank Statement

Important Notes:

  • The loan amount sanctioned by the bank should be at least equal to the amount applied for in the project.

  • Applications should be submitted online via the NLM portal: https://nlm.udyamimitra.in.

Application Process:

  1. Online Application: Visit the NLM portal and fill in the necessary details.
  2. Screening by SIA (State Implementing Agency): SIA will review the application for eligibility and completeness.
  3. Loan Sanction by Bank: Banks will approve loans based on the project feasibility.
  4. SLEC (State Level Empowered Committee) Recommendation: Eligible applications will be forwarded by SIA to SLEC for recommendation.
  5. CEC (Central Empowered Committee) Approval: CEC reviews and approves the recommendations from SLEC.Subsidy Approval by DAHD: DAHD approves subsidies based on the CEC recommendations.
  6. Subsidy Release by SIDBI: SIDBI releases the approved subsidy amount to the applicant’s bank account.

Monitoring:

  • The project will be monitored by the State Implementing Agency (SIA) under the Animal Husbandry Department for two years.
