ICAR’s JRF (Junior Research Fellowship) Exam:
About ICAR’s JRF Exam:
ICAR’s JRF is an All India basis examination for admission to Master Degree Programmes in different State Agricultural Universities, Central Universities and Deemed Universities conducted by Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR), New Delhi. In this Exam, there are some Fellowship seats (with Scholarship of Rupees 8,640/- per month for two years& 6,000/- per annum as contingency grant) and remaining seats are for just admission in different SAU’s, DU’s and CU’s.
Exam Pattern:
Total question paper : One
Major subject-groups: 20
Question Pattern: 75% Questions from Major Subject Group + 25% Questions from General Agriculture
Question type: From Q.(1) to Q.(150) will be Multiple Choice type questions (MCQs) with four answer choice and from Q.(151) to Q.(160) will be Cross-Matching type questions (CMQs).
Total Questions: 160 (150 MCQs + 60 CMQs)
Maximum marks: 650 for each major subject-group paper.
